I watch tv over my computer screen. Also just upgraded to 32". Had been very happy with the Bose Companion speakers that were damaged in moving. This set has the seperate woofer. The sound is even more sharper, crisper and cleaner !! The base is a mixed blessing. It is fantastic most of the time- the sound is MORE life -like. But it is prone it shape "pops" and "thuds" for little things. ie- someone thumps a book. A loud, sharp thud is produced, out of proporation with the action. In action scenes, the sound could not be better. It just is TOO sensitive. There should be a way to moderate the bass.

Died after 2 years - McDade TX -
What can I say, got mine through Dell with my XPS420 that had the top sound blaster card (at the time). Speakers sounded good when all was set up. Then, one day, they quit working. I tried them on a different computer, different power outlets, everything.... They're dead.... For the price, I would expect more than a couple years service.

Absolutely nothing wrong with these. Great sound quality whether the volume is all the way up or as low as i can hear it. Truly an amazing product.
